Three key loops

UpSkill Design System
A design system where AI runs as infrastructure, not as a feature. Machine-readable component contracts tell agents what exists and how it composes, so Claude is called in only where judgment is needed, without 24/7 orchestration.
Most agentic setups keep a model running around the clock, re-reading live APIs on every step. UpSkill does the opposite. Every component ships a JSON metadata contract covering its role, props, composition rules and accessibility, which gives agents a semantic layer to read instead of guessing. Scripts and CI handle everything repetitive. Claude is invoked only to interpret design intent, and it reads small frozen snapshots instead of calling Figma or Airtable directly. The result is team-scale rigor that one person can maintain.
User touch points
- Airtable: live inventory of every token and component.
- CLI: system status at hand for developers.
- Storybook: the engineer's component reference.
- Docs site: architecture and decisions, kept current by CI.
The numbers
95% fewer API calls
One snapshot read replaces 20 live lookups.
Up to 1M tokens a week saved
On-demand commands replace always-on agents.
9 of 40 workflows use Claude
The rest are scripts and GitHub Actions.
58% of bugs caught
By a reviewer with no memory of how the component was built.
